Here we go

The American Political Pendulum swings once again.
The Talking Heads are at it once again. Lob one at me, I'll lob one at you.
The Politicians have to watch every word for it will come back and haunt them, but we don't.
I can say that the Tea Party caused the Republicans to NOT win a majority in the US Senate, and I can also say that MSNBC is pathetic when they leap into demonizing Sarah palin again and asking Michele Bachman if she is under hypnosis on election night, when she does not answer a question directly.
Go ahead and argue with me: but if you plan on just lobbing one one-sided bomb and waiting for someone to lob a counter-bomb, with numbers and all, you are wasting your time on this blog.
We are looking for serious conversation for the next two years at least, and not just for Michael Moore meets Glenn Beck; there is plenty of that on TV, especially if you have PIP and can keep two channels on at the same time and end up with nothing new!

  1. MSNBC, FOX and other channels are in this for RATINGS ONLY. The majority of their reporting is a mixture of opinion peppered with unsubstanciated data. We need real NEWS organizations, that will report vetted facts and data. It does not sell well, but it sure beats the slanted idiotic drivel that passes for news. There is a difference between a mad man and a madman. Even though they are spell the same. I have not heard of a quasi-news organization retracting/apologizing for errors, other than Time Magazine or the New York Times.
As far as demonizing Sarah Palin. It is a pure waste of anyones' time. After all, as she self proclaimed, "You can't put lipstick on a pig."

  2. Well, there we go again.
So Sarah Palin is an idiot, lipstick on a pig and all that.
If you watched all the channels as I did on election night, you saw basically this: CNN had like 31 ommentatorss. Fox had a fairly balanced slate. MSNBC had Chris Matthews asking Bachman if she was hypnotized. Ho-hum.
Does it matter? Yes. I love it that my super-Lib friends agree that the main stream media are no longer real
For example, the Washington Post reported that Fox was so biased that they had a token Democrat, Doug Shoen, and nothing else.
They had geraldine ferraro, Bob Becker, Juan Williams, Alan Colmes and others.
Back at the ranch, MSNBC had their usual venomous line-up, inluding Chris Mathews asking Michele Bachman if she was under hypnosis.
We agreed on the premise, no lobbing back and forth. But please!

  3. The important debate needs to shift,
Are we done with Nancy Pelosi, or does she matter in protecting what the Democrats accomplished in the last 4 years?
Please stop demonizing, or go to moveon.org, where lots of same-minded people are writing.
We are looking for true middle-of-the-road Americans
